The short version
inveni uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
What your browser keeps for us
inveni stores a few things in your browser so the app works:
- your sign-in session, so you do not have to enter your password on every page;
- your preferences, such as your theme and where you were in your feed;
- which notices you have already dismissed, so they are not shown again.
The bot check on the sign-in, sign-up and password-reset forms is provided by our security provider and may set a cookie of its own for that purpose only.
Why there is no cookie banner
Everything above is either needed for a service you asked for (signing in, bot protection) or a preference you set yourself. Nothing tracks you across sites, so there is nothing to ask your consent for.
Your controls
Clearing site data for inveni.uk in your browser removes all of the above. You will be signed out and your preferences reset. Blocking browser storage entirely prevents sign-in.
